What is NFU about?
NFU consists of a series of video Programs covering most aspects of Dr. Elorriaga’s original and broad Neurofunctional Operating System, a practical method for the functional diagnosis and treatment of Pain with Movement Disorders, developed over 25 years of treating and teaching this original methodology to thousands of health care practitioners. The Neurofunctional Operating System is a practical, clinical methodology to assess and treat these problems neurofunctionally, using qualitative clinical analysis methods, and Manual Soft Tissue and Percutaneus Functional Neuromodulation techniques. The Neurofunctional Operating System is best summarized as a “treating beyond structures” integrated approach.
NFU presents video Programs filmed both live and in a studio environment. The video Programs included in the NFU library are intended for self-directed learning at an individual pace. Repeated viewing is necessary in order to fully grasp the many subtleties of the system. Transcripts of many of the Programs are also provided in order to facilitate viewing and reviewing of the material.
